UHF equivalent of USBUIRT?
Is there such a thing as an equivalent to a USBUIRT that can program a receiver that is UHF controlled?
Thanks,

One could be built but nothing off the shelf is setup to do this.

I've been thinking of building a hardware hack to do this, but I'll need someone to write the software. Not sure how flexible it would be. In the case I was thinking of using a spare remote, so you would need a spare remote.

With a RS232 IR receiver...
Plug it into one of the many $100 or so Serial to Ethernet or Serial to WiFi. These come with a virtual COM port driver for windows. So the application sees a COM port but the serial device is transported using IP on Ethernet or WiFi. Lantronix Moxa Black Box GridConnect many more Using USB instead of RS232- haven't seen that. |
