Red face Favorite Manager question

For reasons I'm to embarrass to go into I would like to Print out all the names/favorites in my favorite manager (I have 100's) so I can re-add them on a 100% clean install of OS and sage. Is this possible?

No I do not wish to use back-up's of my wiz files...............don't ask why

Thanks

Doesn't the web server plugin have some sort of favorite export/import feature?

Sure does.

Schedule recordings>Favorites Manager click on the XML icon to export.

SageTV>Import XML File will let you import in your exported xml file.

edit: And if you just want to print them out and manually add them to your new setup, Schedule recordings>Favorites Manager will list the favorites in a nice table with most of the important settings already listed.

Would advise against printing out only. I don't think you can add a favorite back in if it is not available in the schedule.

Thanks for the replies

On the long side

After two nightmarish days everything worked out great in the end.

Good :After transferring 11 stand-alone external (some small-ish in size) usb harddrive to two 4 harddrive each enclosures.

Bad. Real bad : Without reading/checking out first what's the best way to do the above drive transfer.

Bad:The problem, Drive letters was new or different. Sage lost it's mind looking for gig's of moved recordings and becomes very sluggish and would lock just trying to play or delete a recording 25% of the time.

Bad: Nobody was happy with me in the fluffdaddy household.

Good: Bite the bullet did a full 64 cluster format of all 8 drives enclosure drive and two Internal Hard Drives (some stuff on these drives was 2 years old).

Good : Full install of everything and to my great surprise adding a backed up wiz.bin file returned all our fav and manual records setup as if nothing happened. Not having to re-add 278 favorites in priority order is a a load off my mind.

Good : Sage is now humming along faster then I seen it in a long time with no circle of death delays at all.

Bad: Not everyone is trilled with me over all the deleted unwatched recording, but no pain no gain. Having 11 stand-alone enclosures (some years old) was a nightmare

Good : WAF & CAF is restored and we are a ready for the new fall season

I've tried doing this, but it doesn't seem to "take". It'd be nice to be able to have an "index" field so that you can enter priority numbers for the sort. The Up/down arrows method is pretty tedious trying to get things in the right order.
