Change Channel Name

I've asked this in a different thread; however, that one seems to have gone off in it's own direction.

How do I change the call letters on a channel? I have a OTA Digital Channel that lists it name (in the guide) as DT45. I would like to change the label to the station's Call letters.

We normally recommend that people select a lineup for your zipcode/city when setting up tuners for OTA, SAT or CABLE so they will have a working GUIDE with the correct Station IDs to collect guide data electronically. You can then use the REMAP function if your tuner requires channel remapping.

If your channel is not available in the guide lineup (as is the case with some OTA ATSC PBS stations) then you can use ADD CHANNEL and provide the station and channel information during setup. Note that Electronic Program Guide data for manually added channels may not be available, especially if the station is not carried by a well-known cable system.

So, in your case, use ADD CHANNEL to create the channel with the correct information then select it in the guide and use REMAP : Logical to map it over DT45.
