Studder after multipath, channel change, & show change
I'm using Sage for OTA ATSC with a pair of Dvico Fusion Lite cards, an NVidia 7600GT card, and PureVideo decoders.
Every time a minor interruption occurs from either multipath, changing channels while viewing live TV, or a program change viewing live TV, the playback begins to randomly pause, jerk, and hesitate from that point forward. Sometimes it corrects itself, but 95% of the time, I have to pause then resume to get it to smooth out (until the next glicth). It's worse on 1080 programming, but happens on 720p stations as well. Some related settings in my properties file: videoframe/local_encoding_to_playback_delay=2500 videoframe/safe_fast_file_switching=true videoframe/time_behind_live_to_disable_skip_forward=4000 videoframe/time_to_start_into_tv_file_playback=500 This is beginning to get under my skin. Anyone know of a solution, or at least something to try? |
