SageTV prompts for channel change?
ok, I jsut download the trial version of STV 4.x, When I goto the program guide and select a show to record, and schedule a show to be recorded. Sometimes a leave in a hurry, and I have noticed that sage tv pop-up comes of and asks me if I want ot to change the channel so it can record a show that I a scheduled? Shouldn't it do this automatically?

Are you watching live TV at the time? If so, it will ask such a thing. Maybe you have video playback as the menu background or in the preview window set to Always. In that case, you will be watching something live if you don't already have an existing recording playing.

But the important thing to note is that it will change the channel if you don't do anything (correct me if I am wrong, Andy) ...

BTW: the pop-up & automatic channel change if no response is received is mentioned on p. 21 in the v4.1 manual, in the live TV section of the Quick Satrt Guide -- that whole section is intended as an introduction to how SageTV operates; it starts on p. 18.
