Program Guide Data Issue

Time-Warner eliminated the Country Music Channel and substituted Turner Classic Movies on the same channel. Wonderful.

However, my Sage Program Guide is still showing the country channel information....figured the best way to fix that problem was to tell Sage I have a new cable carrier using Setup Wizard, Program Guide Data. However, when I attempt to change my cable carrier by entering in my same zip code or a nearby zip code, Sage says, "Error connecting to Sage TV Server - be sure internet connection is established."

There's no problem with my internet connect....the internet is working fine and I indeed have the latest information on my Sage Program Guide, my email and web browsing is working fine, etc.

Any idea why Sage isn't recognizing the "new" channel, do you think my workaround is the right approach and why can't I simply tell Sage to "reinstall" this particular cable system so it picks up the right program guide data?

There is a firewall FAQ you can check and one for EPG issues. You may need to report the channel chage to SageTV and/or it may take Zap2it a little time to get it corrected.

I am getting the same error when trying to setup a lineup... internet connection is fine, and I have no firewall running.

Guide data was working fine til about 2 days ago, and now it stopped. No setting have changed on the computer or SageTV in that time period.
