Flushing old guide data

I switched over from DVB-T over the air program information to XMLTV this weekend, which seems to have only part worked. While both of my tuners say they are using the XMLTV guide data it doesn't seem to have worked 100%. For instance, at the moment some programs have data that I never had over the air, such as actors and aspect ratios and others don't. One interesting case is a film which on Film4 +1 shows up with all the extra information, and is classified as a movie, while on Film4 it has the lesser information and is not classified as anything.

Is there any way of flushing out all the old guide data? Is it possible that the over the air data is still being downloaded and used for some reason?

I _think_ you want to change this property for the lineup so that it ignores data in the digital stream:

epg_data_sources/<some number>/disable_data_scanning=true

This doesn't seem to be working. I have only got one digital tuner listed in the EPG section (I didn't bother setting the other one up as a source), so I can't tell sage to not download from that one, but I would hope that if I hadn't set up a source it wouldn't be used... Of course it may be that I need to change another setting.

Any ideas?
