Recording homerun hdtv streams
Quick question. When sagetv records the data streams from the hd homerun is it encoding them or just writing the files. I am debating whether to switch from btv server. I know when btv records these streams it doesn't need alot of cpu because it is just a direct copy.
How does sage handle these files? Thanks |

It just writes them. There's nothing to encode.
