Feature idea: Wrong recording while the program is running

I have an idea for a feature. It has happened to me more than once that a recording has gone wrong while I am there to fix it. Usually because a wrong channel change (still haven't gotten it right after 3 years). So I know my recording has gone wrong, and I can't do anything about it. Usually I have to wait until the recording has finished so I can mark it as a wrong recording and I can delete it.

It would be a great idea to have the option to mark it as wrong recording immediately, and have it delete right there and then, or try a retune, or have an option to choose the next available recording or have next available recording found automatically. Something like that. What do you guys think?

I just turn it into a manual recording first then change the stop time to the current time. Wait a couple of seconds for the recording to stop and then delete the recording stating it is the wrong one.

Try that and see if it works for you.
