SageTV Opens to Blank Screen
Help! Was playing around with SageMC last night and in switching back and forth I decided to see what the Netflix_SageMC STV file, if I've got my terminology right. Anyway, since doing this Sage opens to a blank (or black) screen with a frozen circular progress indicator. Nothing happens from there and I can't access any menus.
To try and rectify this I've closed Sage down and copied my backup sage and sage.properties files in. No luck there, I get the same blank screen. I'm using the latest and greatest, but couldn't verify exactly what that is because I can't open Sage properly. Does Sage have a safe mode or something? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I'm dead in the water as it stands now. TIA, Al |

Start>programs>SageTV>SageTV Service Control
Close Sage, Stop the service Now restore your backup file Start Service, start Sage |

To clear out whatever STV was last loaded, just remove the STV property from sage.properties while SageTV is closed. (Or edit sageclient.properties if using service mode or a client; edit the appropriate file in the clients subfolder if using an extender or Placeshifter.)
If all else fails, remove the proeprties file & its .autobackup copy & redo your configuration. - Andy

Wow, thanks for the uber quick responses. I knew I was on the right track, but unfortunately I was playing around with the backup files as opposed to the working copies. Your responses got me sorted out...thanks much.
