How to disable sagetvplayer ?

I have a lot of problems with the built in sagetvplayer playingavi or MKV files.
They show sometimes the aspect rate distorted. Other problem is that
playing mkv videos the player only uses one core of the dual core cpu.
That makes 1080p videos unplayable. What is strange is that Segetv sometime uses the dshow filter, sometimes the sagetvplayer for same type of video files.

I was able to set in sagetev.properties to use dshow codec always and
in this case all my videos were playing ok, but in this case i could not play flac audio files, although i have all the necesarry filters and they ply perfect on WMP.

Any help with the two problems ?

What splitter and filter is used to play the flac file in graphedit?

It is http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/. I think filter was not the problem because the files play ok in all dshow app (wmp, media player classic). The error i got is that it cannon play the video portion of the file !
