Starting playback from the beginning?

Hey all,
This is probably the most simple of questions but here goes...

Is there a way to start the playback of a recording from the begnning? Currently I have to do the following:
1. Fast Forward to the end of the recording.
2. Hit stop.
3. Select Watch Now.
4. Hit stop
5. Select Watch Now.

It isn't until the final step that SageTV will start the recording over. I could of course rewind alway to the beginning with the same affect as step 1, but I thought there would be a short cut.

Perhaps there's a button somewhere like "Start Over" that I'm missing.

Look up time scroll playback in the user manual pdf. With it you can jump to the beginning with three button presses (enter time scroll mode, jump to beginning, exit time scroll/set new position)

Before you start watching a previously partially watched show you can get it to start playing at the beginning by hitting the "watched" button. Clearing the watched status in this way also has the advantage that SageTV will remember your current position if you stop watching part way through, otherwise it may start from the furthest watched position.

Personally, I would prefer that SageTV add the option to "Start from beginning" just under "Watch now" on selecting a video. I discovered the 'clear watched' hack a while back, but that is kind of a pain to have to navigate to with the MVP and the remote.

Try the Close Media File import from A Collection of Minor Tweaks for the Default STV for SageTV 5.0/6. It should get you out of doing steps 3 and 4 at least.
