Conflict Between Nvidia and Cyberlink Filters
I am currently running Sage 6.1 under XP SP2 and have both Nvidia Purevideo and Cyberlink Powerdvd Deluxe 7 on my system. During my initial setup by using the Directshow filter manager, I reset the Nvidia Transport Demux, and Audio and Video Decoder to 00800000 to force them to be the highest used. Cyberlink Demux is set to 00602000 as is the Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder. Video settings in Sage are set to default, VMR9 and full screen are enabled. As far as I can tell, this is the correct setting for HD playback using the Nvidia software which should be the default codecs.
What has been occurring lately is that when trying to playback an HD recording I get blank video but can hear audio. Only by exiting Sage and restarting can I watch a program. I've rendered several HD recordings in Graphedit and get one of the following for the video portion:
Recording>Cyberlink Demux>Cyberlink Video/SP
or
Recording> Ligos MPEG Splitter (Sage?)
I'm not sure what is happening here and why two different filters are being called. Essentially what I want to do is have all recordings use the Nvidia software/decoder and all DVD's use the Cyberlink decoders. If anyone can point me towards documentation that outlines this or has this setup on their PC I'd appreciate any advice you can give.
Thanks.
