I downloaded Sage for the free trial period last night. It found my card at first but didn't locate all of my local digital channels as I had already accomplished using AverMedia's software.


Here are some of the things I've experienced....


From the guide listing all the channels that were found and locked: If you click on the ABC channel and it will take you to CBS, you click on the NBC channel it takes you to CBS, basically it's locked in on one channel. So I rescanned thinking that might be the problem....

Now it's giving me an encoder error (-10) or something.


During setup it didn't give me an ATSC option, just NTSC but I don't use Analog at all. I just want local OTA HD channels to watch and record.



Any ideas? Is the trail version fully functional?

I have this card (actually 2 of them), and the full version of Sage. I didn't use the trial version so I can't tell you if there is an issue with it - but I doubt it. I'm betting its the full product.

When I scanned all of my digital channels, it found everything except 1 channel. However, I could manually add that channel. I assume you went to Add New Source, selected your Digital TV Tuner, and let it scan? If you want to manually add the channel, go to that tuner, go to the Channel Setup, and then Add Channel to Lineup.

I assume you've tested your antenna connection and indeed do receive more than just that CBS station? I had an issue when I first installed where I forgot to replug in my antenna amp - only received like 3 channels...

HEY, I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM WITH A HVR-1600. EVERY STATION TUNES INTO CBS. Have you found a fix for this yet? Sage support hasnt been any help me me.
