NO DATA!
what?
So Sage is not recording stuff. I go to the program guide and it says "no data" for most of the spaces, but not all of them. What is happening? I have a PVR-500, GE-force 7700. I know my internet connection is working fine and I use a cable modem |

Try going into the 'Setup>>HELP>>System Information' screen and check when SageTV last updated the program guide EPG Service and look for 'LAST EPG UPDATA, NEXT EPG UPDATE' (one screen down). [SageTV 6.2 PDF Pg215]
Also make sure that your firewall has not been changed to block port 7760. SageTV downloads program guide data for a two-week forwards, and schedules favorites to record three days forward. Internet outages between you and the EPG service center can cause delays in getting updates. Also, if you are running Neilm's Webserver software you can easily FORCE an EPG update. Thank you! Yes, for some reason it htought the date was 1 month ahead of what it actually was (how did that happen).
the procedure about removing a channel and putting it back fixed it. however, I needed to do it on both tuners for it to work completely. |

Easier Fix for me
Mine did that a few days ago. To fix the issue all I did was close sage and open it back up and all of a sudden it started to populate the guide.
I missed out on maybe 2 days worth of shows because I only come in to watch recorded shows once or twice a week. |

Happened to me last night. Closing & re-opening SageTV did not fix. Went to setup and deleted source and re-added source -----> worked.
