Channel changing issues

I've had Sage for about 2 years now and been through about 4 different versions and am now on version 6.0.19.120, but lately I've been having trouble with directv serial control. When Sage first starts up it will change channels just fine through DTV serial control, After awhile though, a few hours usually, sage will change the channel either manually or through a program for favorites but the DTV serial won't change the channel on the STB. If I close out sage and restart it I'll get serial control again for a few hours until it stops working again. This has got me fuming pretty good. I'm missing recording a lot of my favorites because serial control seems to fail most regularly when I'm not home.

Any Ideas? I've reloaded sage from scratch with all new settings and it's still the same. Could it be something with the STB? But that doesn't seem too likely as resarting sage temporarily gives me serial control again. I'm totally freaking baffled. The older versions never had this problem, and even this version didn't used to have this problem, and it seems to be getting worse.

My debug logs that I provided to Sage supposedly corrected the problem in the latest version (6.2.10).
Unfortunately I never tested it out, as I moved and I don't have DirectTV at the moment.
