Turn off transparency for MVP

I was wondering which setting should be changed to force the MVP to not do any transparency. The reason is that it appears to slow down rendering leaving the UI almost unusable at times.

The solution I'm using now is to change all the Alpha settings in the MediaPlayer OSD to 255, but this would reduce the times I would upgrade the main STV as I'd have to do this for each new version.

Basically, if I could turn off the transparency regardless of what is specified in the STV, it would be helpful. The option I think is there when you use it on the PC, but I don't see it in the MVP menus under Sage.

Thanks,
Lauren

I found a workaround for now.

Open up in Wordpad the SageTV3.xml file that SageTV uses.
Do a search & replace (Control-H) for "</ForegroundAlpha>" and change all to "</f>"
Do another search & replace (Control-H) for "<ForegroundAlpha>" and change all to "<ForegroundAlpha>255</ForegroundAlpha><f>"

You'll notice that alot of the menus you see look different, but they will draw on the MVP much faster. By doing this, I'm now able to do a real-time HDTV viewing on my MVP when I never could before.

My system is Vista Home Premium (Athlon-64 3200) with 1.5GB of RAM.

The newest mod of the original Sage STV is attached (it's the same as the 6.2.4 version's STV but with AutoCompress stvi and Comskip stvi included because I had it installed in mine)
