Does anyone know what directshow filters SageTV is using to build its graph?

There's something definitely different about the way sageTV plays back video/audio than when my system builds a graph. Whatever sageTV is doing is causing the video to stutter on some recordings. This never happens outside of sageTV. Im using the same audio/video filters and renderers. Im guessing the only missing piece to the puzzle is the spiltter?

Is it HD and SD recordings?

Are you using VMR9. Most likely the other video playback applications you're using are using overlay. VMR9 seems to be far more demanding and lots of people can't get it to play back smoothly without FSE and in some cases not at all, even with comparatively high spec PCs.

Sage has it's own splitter and apparently, there's nothing you can do to change which splitter it uses because if you could then live TV wouldn't work.

If you're having the HD stuttering problem, some people are finding that the only way to get sage to play back smoothly is either to drop down to overlay or use an 8500GT video card.
