nielm - what up with the sheep?

I still haven't figured out the reasoning behind all of the cat avatars. And while somewhat embarrased to admit, I have thread the various threads on the topic. However, what perplexes me more is nielm's switch ... to a sheep of all things. Is there a story behind it?

Every night... several episodes a night... I even fall asleep with the theme tune in my head...

Ah, the joy of small children

Since we don't get the show over here, how does that song go? "1... 2... 3... 4... 5... ..."?

I watch the show (a Favourite in Sage for the kids, honest!). Is that Vic Reeves singing the theme tune? Sounds like him...

I'm sure you poor, deprived yanks can download the show somewhere!

Although us 'Yanks' haven't had the pleasure of enjoying much of Nick Park's genious, we are treated to a summer season of Creature Comforts which I am quite pleased about. I would really like to see more W&G but I'll take anything he gives us.

Someone could always set up their web server to allow 'public' access? But then we would be violating copyright laws, wouldn't we?

No no, BitTorrent can't be illegal, it's just sharing...certain organisations try to convince people BitTorrent is illegal, but it's not. Torrenting certain files may be, but the technology itself isn't.

And, of course, if something is not *commercially* available, you get it however you can...

Or, if you can wait until September, can cope with PAL/Region 2 DVDs, and if Amazon.co.uk can ship to the US, then there is a legal way

I just noticed that IR picked up Shaun the Sheep on the Disney channel, starting on July 8. It looks like there will be one 5 minute show per week.

Ahhhh... I can't wait until I too can fall asleep with the theme tune in my head. <-- I wear my sunglasses at night!

Ok. I just watched the first 5min Shaun the Sheep on the Disney channel with my son. We are officially hooked.

Thanks nielm. Like we didn't have enough to watch already.

Now if I could just get that tune out of my head....

Aloha,
Mike

My two year old and I caught it last night. He loves the "doggie" Bitzer.

It amazes me at how long it takes for some of this stuff to catch on here..
