SageTVClient 6.1.9 Problems
Hello - I've been having two problems that are really starting to bother me and I can't seem to find a solution. But, one I do have an idea and one I'm stumped on.
The first has been happening since V6 and what happens is sometimes the timerbar doesn't disappear but rather a part of it stays on the screen. The way to make it disappear is usually to click Select then Cancel and Select again. But, somehow (I can't even remember how) but I found out through Trial and Error that this does not happen with the Sage Decoder but only the NVidia decoder and it is happening on all the workstations. I'm thinking maybe I need to adjust a few things in NVidia or something to make it work. Any ideas? I will post a jpg shortly if that will help.
The second problem only seems to happen on my computer workstation and not the others and this is really bad. It seems that if I go to the guide and select a channel and then drag the Sage window anywhere within a few seconds the entire computer crashes. I can't even get to the task manager and I have to restart. It does this every time. Sometimes it just crashes randomly and I have to restart but I think it happens every time I drag within a few seconds after selecting a channel. I still think the DirecTVSerial is loaded with bugs but again - this only happens on this workstation. I tried deleting the sage directory and copying the one from upstairs which does not have this problem but I'm still getting the error. The only thing I can think of is that maybe it is a registry or Java problem. All my clients are running Java 1.6.0 and this problem only started on my workstation with the latest version and it only exists on this workstation. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike
