Black Screen on Music Visualization

I just did a clean install of V6.1 in an attempt to remove the Winamp plugin I had previously installed. (It never worked correctly for me with v6.1) Anyways, a black screen comes up when i try to start the sageTV graphic visualization. The Music Info Visualization works just fine. Anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

Thanks,

The sageTV graphic visualization looks clunky to me, globs of green & red jumping to the music. I had G-force on J.river Media Center that was MUCH nicer but I can't get it to work here.

Hit Select or Left a few times, that'll kick it in...it's been hit or miss for me, for a long time.

Music visualization has never worked for me. It runs for 5 seconds, then goes blank, then runs for 5 seconds etc.

The last time I brought this up, several people said that it didn't work for them either. I think it's just one of those things that's broken.

Pauk H, how do you get a different visualization?

What would be cool is playback of a looped mpeg2 video along with the music. I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to use the mplayer to mux the two together.
