Error Message with New tuner, screenshot included!

Ok...so i was having big problems and was not liking the crappy PVR-150 I bought, so i brought it back and came home with a All-In-Wonder 2006 Edition 256MB. Ok...set it up, works great, the tv program with ATI works good, but i Like sage, not to mention i paid for it and I had SageTV Version 5, and got this following error, so i downloaded the newest one and I am still getting this error when selecting my tuner. Any ideas why, I have done some searches but haven't found anything yet, hope the screenshot helps

The AIW series are all software encoders, as far as I know. The error could indicate that it is a software encoder that isn't fully supported for use with SageTV.

NOOOOOO!!!!!
Oh my gosh, I'm such a frigging idiot. I didn't even do any research at all. I was so unhappy and impatient with my PVR150 not working that i brought it back and in my further impatient stumble i picked this thinking it was better, i never would have imagined this was software encoding, i just figured anything internal would be hardware! ARGH!

Has anyone gotten this card to work with Sage? I know one thing, i used to have the hauppauge USB2, and was so upset with the quality of the software encoding that i got something else, now it looks i've made the same mistake!

That was the WinTV-USB2; the PVR-USB2 has a hardware encoder. See my reply in your other topic about contacting Hauppauge if you try a Hauppauge card again & have problems with it. Once the Hauppauge software works with it, it should also work in SageTV.

Yeah I thought i was doing a good thing by getting this new card, after taking home he 150 and realizing it was one of the lower quality cards i figured this AIW would be loads better, and it was better than my current video card, nvidia 5200. Well..unfortunately the store didnt have any other Hauppauge cards, because i would have preferred that. Well, it seems as though I will need a new actual Hardware encoder card. I will probably buy a better hauppauge off the internet. I wish i would have just bought a nice combo when i bought sagetv license. Thanks for your help.

I have the ATI HDTV card, and yes, I have the analog and digital sides both working just great! The only thing I can't get to work is the Svideo or composite inputs.... but if you check the list of supported cards, the ATI HDTV is supported for the digital OTA side.

The card uses BDA for the digital, and as of version 6, I was told that was supported.

However, I can only speak for the ATI HDTV card!

The PVR 150 is not a low quality card... Many people have them and think they look great.
