Can SageTV version 5 use an HD Home Run to record unencrypted QAM channels?
I was about to purchase an upgrade key to go from my version 4 key (upgraded to version 5) to the new Version 6, thinking I needed it to record HDTV. However, from the version changelog I saw on videohelp.com, it sounds like version 4 supports HD recording/playback already. Is this true? If so, does the HDhomerun work with it? Thanks!!

Yes it can. Over in the software forum there's a big thread on getting HD to playback seamlessly in v6. There is some belief that V6 doesn't work as well for HD playback as V5 did although some people report the opposite.

I had the HDHR working fine with v5.0.4
