Playing a Xvid or x264 video on a burned DVD...
Hey guys,
As method of archiving, I burn most of my videos to DVD for later viewing... in MCE (where I came from) I would just slide the DVD in and it would detect it as a video DVD and play. How does one get this type of funtionality with Sage? I am trying to do this on a Sage client with a DVD rom. As it stands currently, if I click "Play DVD" it says "There is no DVD in the drive"... ** I figure this out with the default Sage theme, just couldn't with SageMC... ** Thanks in advance, Last edited by travisbell; 02-26-2007 at 12:26 AM.

Check out SageMC. It has a "Play file" option in the imported video menu where you can navigate to the DVD drive and play the file like that.

The default STV will also do that. It's in
Media Center > Browse Media Files > Play a selected media file
