Deleting a DVD directory after playing on the MVP

Anybody else have issues with being able to delete DVD directories after the DVD has been played on the MVP? I am unable to delete the directory until SAGE TV has been restarted. I get the Close any programs that might be using the file and try again error. I've tried Refreshing the media list, playing a different DVD, playing recorded TV and after any of that, I am still unable to delete the DVD directory. Seems the only way to release SageTV's hold on the directory is to shut it down.
