Here's my new set.

The exposure in this photo makes the set's contrast look really horrible, but it's actually phenomenal. Gotta love 1080p.

Is that a 42" Sharp? I'm looking at a 46". Any reflections noticeable off the bezel? Nice setup.

Thanks! It's actually the 46".

There aren't any noticeable reflections in my particular setup, but the bezel is VERY shiny and is a real dust magnet. I have to wipe it off every few days because dust just sticks to it like nothing I've ever seen.

I DO have the 'banding' issue on my set and am working with Sharp currently to get a new set. It's not a HUGE deal, but it's kind of annoying in certain situations. I'm sticking with it because it's such an amazing TV.

Let me tell you - DVDs w/ Nvidia and Half-Life 2 at 1080p look glorious!

Oh, and in case anyone is curious, two shots from the Chronicles of Riddic HD DVD - 1080i from my 360 into the IN76 stretched vertically to fill the 2.39:1 screen using all 1280x720 pixels.

Not via Sage though

Wow Stanger...just - WOW...

Pretty slick man. I'd love to build a true home theatre some day, and that one is just what I'd want.

Thanks...For some reason my camera didn't do a very good job in low light. I'll try to get something better.

I have Intelligent Recording on and I just let it go nuts, so the hard drives are always full. do many people still use IR? As for the tuner, I've never not had the conflict icon up, it's basically impossible to avoid with a favourite like the simpsons!
