Post Pics of your Setup!

Hey all--i thought we might need our own thread (ala AVS) showing our setups. Not sure if this is going to eat up too much space but i'm sure sage will let us know if it does. I just mounted my plasma over the weekend and was pretty happy about the results...nothing spectacular but happy none the less. The best part about it was my wife was dead set against me putting holes in the wall--until she saw the finished product. Ideally--the pics will show sage in all its glory (mine at the moment do not but i will update later tonight or tomorrow).

So--lets see 'em.

Thanks--its actually a woodstove made by Hearthstone out of Vermont. It is made out of soapstone which absorbs tons of heat and dissipates very slowly so that hours after the fire goes out--its still kicking off heat. The one in the picture is the tribute--their smallest model but it still heats our modest house up with no problems. The small size is more due to the really small hearth the builder put in so that limited our options due to clearance and stuff....
Juc

hey--where are all the other pics!

My Rig

I've had my Sage setup since the version 2 days. Last year I wanted to get rid of my server case so I decided to build it into my TV cabinet Since I didn't use the lower section of it.

I mounted everything (MB and HD's) on a piece of wood, bolted on with make shift shock absorbers. (for when I get pissed and kick the cabinet )

I have Sage controlling my satellite receiver but since it misfired on channel changes once in awhile I wanted to keep an eye on the receivers LCD. I desoldered the LCD and just have it sticking out of the compartment.

I rarely use the lights, its more to keep an eye on Dust Bunnies. And the Intake and exhaust fans aren't that loud cause the cabinet aborbs most of the noise.

Thats my baby.

The client is the PC to the top right. FYI... the white DVD drive has since been stealthed

That's identical to the one my parents have, except their is one of the larger ones.

I would post pics of my setup, but right now... not looking so impressive.

ya-i've got two now and that has always been fine. I think i'm getting the icon because i just signed up for showtime and cinemax and i've been recording movies nonstop. Its such a pain to add a tuner to my setup especially since i'm using Directv. oh well.

Are you using the MVP to drive the plasma? Say it isn't so!

I am! I only have SD where I live (no OTA reception and no LOS for satellite) so I'm basically screwed. But--for SD content the MVP is great on the Plasma. I am really surprised by the quality.
