local client hangs, HD300's work fine

[Foggy]

Odd issue started this morning after windows hung/rebooted. The sageTV local client was minimized. (I was watching youtube when the system hung)
My local sageTV client is on the same computer as the sageTV server.
The local sageTV client splash image appears and hangs with the message "SageTV Service is initializing...".
The local sageTV client start up process appears to be in an endless loop.
The HD300's work as expected.
I do have a Wiz.bin.corrupt2 file, dated today.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
- restore the wiz.bin file from the bak? from the wiz.bin.sagetv v9.2.1.826 dated a month ago or restore from my wiz.bin backup in sept?

The sagetv_0.txt file shows the following messages, repeating constantly.

[Foggy]

Two days later I tried starting the local client again and it worked.
The computer had not been rebooted since my initial message.
I'm confused as to why it healed itself but happy.
