Comskip ini files

Does anyone have good working comskip ini files you would share? With my new build I downloaded the latest donators version and it does not look to be working real well. Thought I would ask before starting from scratch doing tuning on it.
Thanks
Wayne

always_keep_last_seconds=120
verbose=0
detect_method=123 ;; everything but scenechange
punish_no_logo=0
cc_correct_type_modifier=1
length_nonstrict_modifier=1.5 ;; required before below due to comskip.ini parsing bug
combined_length_nonstrict_modifier=1
min_show_segment_length=222
min_commercialbreak=45
use_existing_logo_file=0
logo_fraction=0.39
delete_logo_file=1
output_vdr=0
output_edl=1
output_ffmeta=0

live_tv_retries=4
edl_skip_field=3
lowres=10
output_srt=1
output_default=0
play_nice_start=2000 (-1 - 2359)

Here's the ini that I have been using for years. Currently using it with donator build 0.82.003. 0.82.004 was the last one that supports Windows 7 but on the donator download site, it jumps from 0.82.003 to 0.82.007.

Haven't had a problem with it.

Code:
; See comskip.txt in the distribution zip file for many settable parameters, read manual.html, tuning.html and debugwindow.html for how to tune and debug comskip
detect_method=43			;1=black frame, 2=logo, 4=scene change, 8=fuzzy logic, 16=closed captions, 32=aspect ration, 64=silence, 128=cutscenes, 255=all
validate_silence=1 ; Default, set to 0 to force using this clues if selected above.
validate_uniform=1 ; Default, set to 0 to force using this clues (like pure white frames) if blackframe is selected above.
validate_scenechange=1 ; Default, set to 0 to force using this clues if selected above.
verbose=0 ;show a lot of extra info, level 5 is also OK, set to 0 to disable
max_brightness=60 ;frame not black if any pixels checked are greater than this (scale 0 to 255)
test_brightness=40 ;frame not pure black if any pixels checked are greater than this, will check average brightness (scale 0 to 255)
max_avg_brightness=25 ;maximum average brightness for a dim frame to be considered black (scale 0 to 255) 0 means autosetting
max_commercialbreak=600 ;maximum length in seconds to consider a segment a commercial break
min_commercialbreak=25 ;minimum length in seconds to consider a segment a commercial break
max_commercial_size=125 ;maximum time in seconds for a single commercial or multiple commercials if no breaks in between
min_commercial_size=4 ;mimimum time in seconds for a single commercial
min_show_segment_length=250 ; any segment longer than this will be scored towards show.
non_uniformity=500 ; Set to 0 to disable cutpoints based on uniform frames
max_volume=500 ; any frame with sound volume larger than this will not be regarded as black frame
min_silence=12 ; Any deep silence longer than this amount of frames is a possible cutpoint
ticker_tape=0 ; Amount of pixels from bottom to ignore in all processing
logo_at_bottom=0 ; Set to 1 to search only for logo at the lower half of the video, do not combine with subtitle setting
punish=0					; Compare to average for sum of 1=brightness, 2=uniform 4=volume, 8=silence, 16=schange, set to 0 to disable
punish_threshold=1.3 ; Multiply when amount is above average * punish_threshold
punish_modifier=2 ; When above average * threshold multiply score by this value

delete_show_after_last_commercial=0	; set to 1 if you want to delete the last block if its a show and after a commercial

;;Increasing the thread count speeds up the processing on CPU's with more cores then the current thread count. Setting the number to higher then the amount of cores makes processing slower. Setting the thread_count to 1 disables multi-threaded decoding, useful in case comskip crashes when decoding the video.
lowres=10 (0-10)
;Enables resolution reduction, setting to 10 makes comskip choose the best value automatically, default not added, default value 0
;;This only works for certain types of video encoding, may not work for h.264 encoded video and may deliver bad results when used with hardware_decode=1
I compared mine to the latest 0.82.010 default ini and here is what I had changed:

0.82.010
Code:
verbose=10 ;show a lot of extra info, level 5 is also OK, set to 0 to disable
Mine
Code:
verbose=0 ;show a lot of extra info, level 5 is also OK, set to 0 to disable
0.82.010
Code:
delete_logo_file=0 ; set to 1 if you want comskip to tidy up after finishing
Mine
Code:
delete_logo_file=1 ; set to 1 if you want comskip to tidy up after finishing

0.82.010
-no entry

Mine
Code:
output_default=0			; CommercialDetector
0.82.010
-no entry

Mine
Code:
always_keep_first_seconds=30
always_keep_last_seconds=60
thread_count=2 (1-16)
;Number of threads used when decoding the video, default not added, default value 2
;;Increasing the thread count speeds up the processing on CPU's with more cores then the current thread count. Setting the number to higher then the amount of cores makes processing slower. ;;This only works for certain types of video encoding, may not work for h.264 encoded video and may deliver bad results when used with hardware_decode=1
I added the last ones after looking at the comskip.txt file.

Thanks for the info. I had downloaded 0.082.010 and been trying to make it work. I just downloaded your ini and will see how it works.
Thanks
Wayne

Just to make sure...

You did change your comskip plugin to point to your donator version, correct?

On my server, I put my donator version in C:\Comskip

Then in the comskip plugin you set your:

exe to C:\Comskip\comskip.exe
ini to C:\Comskip\comskip.ini

Don't just copy your donator version into the directory where the non-donator build was at. Create your own directory for it.

Yes, That is what I did. That is the way I had it on my old machine.
Thanks
