NAS Options In Sage?

I was going through the Detailed Setup > Customize settings on my HD200 and found an option to "Enable NAS Settings". When I enabled this, I found under Detailed Setup > Server there were additional settings to configure a NAS server. I was able to set things like server name, workgroup name, and whether or not I would like to enable a file server, web server, or FTP server.

I do not see these same options when I connect from a Windows PC client.

Although I enabled these options, I do not see an additional file server appearing on my network.

I was hoping this might be a way to work around the UNC path issues I've been having with DVD ISO playback (if the Sage server could emulate a Windows file server, perhaps I could use that to set a UNC path to import from that other windows clients would see).

Can anyone better explain what these options are or why I am only seeing them on my HD200?

I'm posting this in the Unraid section of the forums as my Sage server runs in a docker container on Unraid, not sure if that factors into this at all.

Thanks!

What UNC path issues are you having? I am running a SageTV docker in unRAID, and also have all of my ripped DVDs in .iso format.

I've got another thread going on the topic herehttps://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66453

The issue is that my ISO files are in an UNRAID share, but I can't browse to the UNC path to establish an import directory from Sage. I have to use the docker container path settings to make it appear as a local path to Sage so it can import the ISO files.

I can playback the ISO files fine over an extender, but I have several PC clients that throw an error stating they can't access the path.

Ah, I see now. I am only using one client, and do not play any of my .iso files on that client, I only play them on extenders.

Hopefully someone else can assist...
