Comskip mostly making 0 byte files?
Noticed that recorded shows aren't coming with commercial marks for the past few weeks, and that the resulting edl files have no data. When I go to configure via the UI, i get a nullpointerexception error upon queuing files. Only thing I can point to is a recent update of UNRAID, but the timing doesn't match up. I removed the docker, deleted the comskip folder entirely from appdata, and reinstalled the docker, but I still get the . Is that the right process? What do I look for?
In the comskip directory under appdata/sagetv, I now only have the comskip file, and the comskip config file. I could swear there should be more, none are hidden either.

Did you update the comskip plugin recently, and if so, are you making sure that you're keeping your comskip.exe donators version? The update will overwrite it in the default directory. This is the usual heads-up for Windows, not sure how it works in Linux.

In SageTV settings for Commercial Detector plugin what is the path for the executable and ini?
Just having the two files in that directory is fine. The donator's version doesn't apply to Linux. Oh, you know what, I had a problem like this and posted about it somewhere on here. I had to update the comskip executable because the one in the Docker did not handle a certain format or something. Maybe try that as well.

/opt/sagetv/server/comskip/comskip.exe
/opt/sagetv/server/comskip/comskip.ini is the below the issue you were having? Not sure where to find that log (sagetv log? docker log? unraid log?) The plugin via the Sage UI says it's 1.16 https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/sho...postcount=1086

Linux doesn't have a donator's version?

The Linux download has all features enabled. Basically the donator's version for free. Although I would encourage those who just use the Linux version to throw some money at the developers. I did when I moved to unRAID even though I already purchased the Windows version. It's one of those tools I couldn't see living without...

Isn't that the truth. I can't imagine how many wasted hours/days/months of life comskip and Tom's plugin have saved.

Totally agree, can't imagine living without comskip. Speaking of..... I'm still living without it
I'm on unraid, so I should have the donator version installed (and I am a donator). However, I did at some point attempt to install a more updated version, but that may have been a windows version. I have since reinstalled sage from scratch and deleted the sage folder from the image file (copying wiz and props back into it). Still not working. Inside the appdata/sagetv/comskip file there is an 18mb file called comskip with no extension or file type that will not open. In the appdata/sagetv/server/comskip folder, the readme says it's comskip 0.80.042 what else should I be looking at to figure out why it's not running?

I'm about 5 months in without comskip. Haven't had time to look at it, but now I do, so can someone point me in the right direction? Nothing has changed to the below.
EDIT: deleted all comskip folders/files, then reinstalled the docker. I am now able to manually run CS on individual files, but when I go to queue, i get: "there was an error setting the plugin configuration value of: java.lang.nullpointerexception" not seeing anything via search, and the sagetv_0 log doesn't contain "nullpointerexception" or "queue"
