Dolby Digital Plus = Picture or sound?
I have a couple files that are encoded with Dolby Digital Plus. I can watch them in SageTV without sound, or change to DirectShow and hear them with a very bad picture. They play fine in Kodi on the same machine as my SageTV 9. Is there any way to patch this?

I did a little codec juggling and figured out that I had 2 different types of files that were mutually exclusive for SageTV to play. Play one or play the other. I'm using nothing but LAV and SageTV codecs now after sorting this out. I found that 2 of the files would play with good picture and sound if I used directshow, but this caused problems with "ATV3.m4a" files. So, how did I eventually deal with the files? I rebuilt them with Avidemux.
