One of the two USB-UIRT stopped working after upgrade to 9

Hi,

I have two Colossus cards, each controlled by its own USB-UIRT.
This setup worked for years with STV7.
After upgrade to STV9 and replacement of irremote.ini, only one of the USB-UIRT is still changing channels. The other is being ignored.
Any advice where should I look to troubleshoot?
Both USB-UIRT come up as configured in Source Setup
Where are configuration files for USB-UIRT?

Edit: I found the configuration .ir files and copied the one from working USB-UIRT to another. No change.
When I try to re-program the codes on the one that is not working, the window with the instructions disappears immediately and an error message appears. The number that I tried to reprogram than disappears from both the re-programming window and from the relevant .ir file.

It is starting to look like a bug to me...

Thanks
Frank

Possible bug in USB-UIRT in STV 9?

After upgrade to STV9, one of my two USB-UIRT stopped working.

I checked the Sources configuration. Nothing weird.
I copied the .ir file from the working USB-UIRT into the dead one. No change.

I decided to re-program the dead one. However, when I choose Reprogram IR Code and choose the number, the window with the instructions disappears immediately and that number subsequently disappears both from the Reprogram IR Code window and from the relevant .ir file. So after each such attempt to reprogram different number, relevant .ir file shrinks some more and that number is not available in Reprogram IR Code window any more.

Both USB-UIRT devices show in WIndows Devices as working OK.

It looks like a bug to me...

Could you please test and confirm?

Thanks
Frank

Just an update:

No bug. One of the USB-UIRT malfunctioned. Just ordered a replacement.
That's all.

I would have deleted my posts, but I have not figured out how.

Cheers
