How to move recordings between drives?

On my Linux-based server, I've been recording to two directories on
two different drives: /media1/tv and /media2/tv. I'd like to
consolodate all my recordings into one of those directores (in order
to remove a drive that's nearing EOL).

If I shut down sagetv, "mv" the recordings from /media2/tv into
/media1/tv, will sagetv find the moved recordings when it is started?

[Then I can delete that now-empty recording directory from the sagetv
configuration .]

You can do the move with Sagetv up and running. Just have to do a rescan afterwards then Sagetv will update the info in wiz.bin
