SageTV Shutting Itself Down - HELP!!!
HELP!!
Ok...so I was going to make the swap to Schedules Direct today. I wanted to configure it from my PC instead of doing everything with the remote. I connected with Placeshifter and SageTV shutdown. Ever since then I cannot get it to run...it will start and then shutdown. Ever since then in notice in the log the following lines: Sun 6/18 14:16:22.144 [SageTV@178f8ff] [[SageTCPServer]]: Starting extender Sun 6/18 14:16:22.144 [Thread-92@1484a3d] [[SageTCPServer-Player:9279]]: Starting a player on socket 9279 Sun 6/18 14:16:22.144 [SageTV@178f8ff] [[SageTCPServer-Player:9279]]: TCPServerPlayer: 7c5cf80dc933, port = 9279,ip = 172.18.19.21Sun 6/18 14:16:22.144 [SageTV@178f8ff] [[SageTCPServer]]: Starting extender Sun 6/18 14:16:22.144 [Thread-92@1484a3d] [[SageTCPServer-Player:9279]]: Starting a player on socket 9279 Sun 6/18 14:16:22.144 [SageTV@178f8ff] [[SageTCPServer-Player:9279]]: TCPServerPlayer: 7c5cf80dc933, port = 9279,ip = 172.18.19.21 Well...that is my laptops address...Placeshifter is NOT running, I've rebooted and changed my laptops IP address and it seems to follow it so I am assuming that it is going by MAC address. I don't know if it is coincidence or not. In the log it does get to a point where it says: Sun 6/18 14:16:23.185 [Shutdown@718e94] ::INFO: Shutdown hook executing Sun 6/18 14:16:23.186 [SageTV Shutdown@1bf02b8] SageTV SHUTDOWN is activating! And then it shuts down...so much for my fathers day plans! BTW...I was a couple of versions back on Sage and Placeshifter...both of which I upgraded after the initial crash hoping it would fix it. I did run the SageTV install once and then a second time and selected repair. I've attached the log in hopes that someone can tell me what's going on...I have no TV boxes as everything runs through SageTV and 2 HD Homerun Prime boxes so no TV in the house at all right now... |

Do you have any plugins installed? I seem to remember that there was a plugin called SageTCP that would cause the symptoms you are describing.

I believe I do...how would I check and remove it since I can't get it to stay running long enough to do anything?
