Eventghost creating Sage commands but they are not being received by Sage

I have started setting up Eventghost to work with a Logitech mini controller. Eventghost's log is showing that it is creating the appropriate Sage commands but Sage is not receiving them. I have set Sage's Remote Control Configuration to none/external setup. The Show SageTV Commands function doesn't display any of the special commands such as play, pause, fast-forward, etc. It will show standard key presses such as space, letter keys, etc.

I had been using a Streamzap remote. It still works and shows the appropriate codes for each key. The Streamzap sill works even though I switched sage to None/External for a remote. I unplugged the Streamzap receiver, but that didn't help Eventghost to get through.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Steve

Ok, I've made some progress. I am using two machines. The first is win7, 64-bit based. It is used for basic setup and test of Sage and things like the xml file for Eventghost. It does not have any tuners. The target computer used for TV is XP based and only runs Sage and Firefox (for Netflix).

Sage on the test computer still can't receive commands from Eventghost, but the target XP-based machine can. I had to change which Logitech HID was selected under the HID plugin. For some reason there are multiple Logitech HID items.

It's interesting that the Logitech mini controller and Streamzap work together even though they create different codes for each function. I am using Streamzap outside of Eventghost.

I now have to setup how to control Firefox and not Sage when Firefox is in focus.

I can post the Eventghost XML file if anyone is interested. I just need to know how to post the file.
