Watching live TV on Shield no longer works

When I attempt to watch TV on the Shield (either via Live TV or via Guide) and select a channel, I see the program information and the progress bar on the bottom but the screen is black. Then the info and bar disappear and the screen stays black. I do not have a problem watching recorded videos. I've power cycled the ShieldTV a few times and rebooted my SageTV server - no difference.

The HD200 works just fine.

The log file should be attached.
Any suggestions?

MiniClient 1.2.6
SageTV v9.0.14.568 on Windows 10

There were several errors in that log, so thanks for posting... but, only error relevant to your video was from ExoPlayer saying that it couldn't play it.

Have you tried using IJKPlayer? Did this used to work with the MiniClient but is now failing? Did something change on the server? (MiniClient hasn't changed in a couple months).

Working now that I disabled ExoPlayer.

Yes, this used to work. It had been working for more than a year.

I was running SageTV v9.0.12 or 13 last week when my wife finally got around to telling me it was not working. I upgraded to v9.0.14, but that did not make a difference.

I'm not aware of any other changes on the server.

I had not made any changes to the miniclient running on the ShieldTV.

Odd. Stuckless, thanks for the hint. Wife will be much less unhappy. (She and the ShieldTV do not get along.)

I do find IJKPlayer to be much more reliable, but it has it's own issues (from what people tell me). My wife has been very happy with the Shield... mainly because now to go from SageTV, to YouTube, to Netflix is very simple and good experience. But I think i trained he well... I just kept buying different units (roku, hd300, etc) and then switching it out every couple months, so she was used to me changing (breaking) things

Sean, have you seen any funky timeline issues with the shield and live TV? I've just noticed that if I'm watching live and I pause it will resume, but the timeline indicator will be at "live" when I'm actually behind. So if I ff or skip it does nothing. It's pretty weird.
