Schedules Direct EPG Channel Mapping

Hello,

I'm new to SageTV, coming from Windows Media Center. Installed v9 on Linux Mint (Ubuntu) and I'm running into EPG issues. I have FIOS in Central Florida with HDHomeRun Prime cable card turner and the Schedules Direct EPG does match up with my scanned channels. Do I have to map all the channels manually? MCE did this automatically somehow.

I got this working. I wasn't using OpenDCT which solved the problem. I couldn't get it to work without using OpenDCT. Was trying to go without it since SageTV sees the tuner and plays fine without it. The guide doesn't work properly though for the channel mappings.

SageTV can handle the older non-cable card HDHRs directly, but does not have built in support for cable card tuners. My guess is that Sage tried to use your Prime as a clear QAM tuner, but couldn't find any channels. Yes you need an external app to handle the Prime with cable card - OpenDCT is probably best choice right now and has the best support.
