Sudden New Install, Force SDEPG Update

Just realized I hadn't seen a guide update in at least a week and took a look; when I started up the SageTV UI, I was presented with the configuration wizard which I could not escape from - had the 2 finger.

Stopped the service, renamed the SageTV directory, copied over a backup from about 6 weeks ago. I'd like to force an EPG update, but since the inclusion of SDirect EPG into the core, this:

"c:\Program Files\GnuWin32\bin\wget.exe" --user ******* --password ******* localhost:6969/sage/GlobalCommand?command=ForceEpgUpdate"no longer works.

I have not updated the Phoenix Core (Using 3.0.4), nor BMT (4.1).

Can one force an update?

Also, when I upped to this version of the core, I seemed to not be able to use an Crl-X to exit the Guide, it just takes me to the beginning of the line (gets me INTO the guide), any ideas?

I've always used the home page of the Sage Web Interface to force EPG updates, when necessary.

I'd be running it within Kodi, so that would make it a bit more "button intensive".

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. For the rare times that the EPG actually requires a forced update, I just fire up the Web Interface on the server, or any other computer in the house for that matter, and click [Force EPG Update]. Once a month would be excessive for my system.

Perhaps you're trying to automate this for some reason that I can't determine.

As an alternative if you don't have the web server installed:
You can force an EPG update for a particular lineup by just enabling and then disabling a channel or vise versa. Just go to the tuner that has the lineup you want to force an update on and toggle a channel and you will force an update on the lineup assigned to that tuner.

I guess I should have been more specific - just wanted a commandline option to refresh it.
