Advice request for upgrading to V9

Any advice on upgrading to V9 on a Windows 10 64bit machine with V7 already installed? I will install over V7.

1. I suppose I should image the entire drive just in case?
2. I have numerous plugins installed. Should I uninstall them?
3. Will there be any issues with hardware after the install (see config below)?
4. Will I have to reinstall drivers after the upgrade?

My Current Configuration...
Windows 10 64bit
SageTV V7
HD200
QAM to HVR-2250
HDPVR
IR Blaster
EventGhost

You should just be able to do the upgrade and be done with it.

Exciting news!
This weekends project.
I think I'll backup just in case anyway.

And make sure you uninstall the lucene-core plugin (Library plugin) if it's installed, before you upgrade

Thanks.
I got the update done. Had some problems the 1st attempt but it worked the second time around. Didn't realize that there was a FAQ page for upgrading. If I had read that I wouldn't have had any problems.
