Plugin Request: Premiere Alerts
I currently use SJQ and a Groovy script Slugger wrote to email me details on premieres that day. The last sagex update broke SJQ. Granted that problem was resolved quickly by tmiranda putting random "stub" code into the sagex code. While I think that SJQ is an excellent plugin and should be in the STV tool set, no one has taken over maintaining SJQ. Also the web UI no longer installs because it is set as requiring STV7. (I'm guessing someone just needs to change the plugin manifest and it would work on v9, but there is no active maintainer and I'm not a developer who could take it over.) So I'm looking to move to alternative ways of doing things. I think I could retire SJQ with another way to get premiere alerts.
In the spirit of not having to clutter code with "stubs" in other plugins and only use maintained code I'm wondering if someone would be interested in creating a plugin that does the premiere alerts. I think one for late night guest alerts would be nice too, (another SJQ script by Slugger), but I haven't recorded late night in a while and didn't set it up when I went to v9.

Not what you are requesting but I have a favorite setup that has a keyword of Premiere for all fields setup. It appears to get everything because I also had to add the channels I was interested in as well to cut down the number selected. Like I said not what you asked for but it would get you all the premieres and you could set to "watched" any you didn't want to record and force any you do that are in conflict. This might get you buy until someone can create the plugin you want.

I believe if you use the malore menus there is a view for premiers and finales.

However, I think you need to enable the "unsupported hidden extras" to see these menus in Sage 7 or earlier. I think they are enabled by default on Sage 9.

The only thing missing there is that Slugger's script also sends an email with links to the web interface.
