Sleep Timer?

Is there any kind of sleep timer in SageTV? The reason I ask is that recently Cox Cable here in OKC encrypted everything. Our tv's are no longer able to get local channels off cable. I will eventually go up in the attic and put our tv's on the attic antenna but right now it's way too hot to do that.

Until then, I need some way to power down our bedroom extender after a specified period of time so that it doesn't just keep recording through the night were I to use the tv's built-in sleep timer.

So I assume you are watching live TV and that is why you want to shutdown the extender. There is a plugin called "Basic Sleep Timer" under UI Mod that will power off the extender after x number of minutes. I use it all the time, works well.

FYI: I don't want to use two remotes for a sleep timer (TV and extender) so I've set my TVs to shutdown if the input source is not available after 5 minutes. So when the HD300 gets powered off the TV soon follows. This might also work for you so you only have to set one sleep timer.

Awesome, thank you. As for the TV itself I don't know how long it takes but it shuts itself off after not receiving a signal for so long.
