Comskip Playback update failure

I have a "Software Updates Available" notice for "Comskip Playback." However, when I try to "Update Plugin," I get a "Done - Failed - Resources Download" message.

What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: This is on a Windows Vista OS.

comskip 2.1.0 6/2/2016 update same here

Trying to setuo on a new Win10 install. See there was something put in plugin depository dated 6/2/2016 but I am getting a FAILED-Resource Download on plugin install. Any help? Downloaded the one before with no problem on a Win7 reinstall. Thanks.

Would I be OK if I import Comskip_Playback.stvi dtd 2/6/13 from the SageTV7 folder (that works over on my win7 drive) the old SageTV V6 way? And then move the Comskip_Playback_Theme.properties over to the win10 drive (dual boot)?

The latest version is downloading from Dropbox as the SageTV FTP server has been down for the past few days with no ETA of when it will be back. (The issue is being looked into)

I know a number of people who have successfully installed from the Dropbox location, so there's something else at play here as the file is available directly from a browser.

What version of SageTV are you running 7 or 9?
What version of Java?

John

java 10

Ok, was successful in downloading from dropbox with win10 Edge. Can I manually get these four files in with a import .STVI file in sage detailed setup advanced?

I've moved the download to BinTray to see if that helps.

Me too.

FWIW, I am having difficulties find the version of Java -- I Hate to admit it but don't know how. In any event, everything else is working as expected... meaning as it traditionally did.

I suspect is caused by the download location using HTTPS.

I've updated the Manifest to use HTTP links instead

There's an issue with some versions of Java and HTTPS
