Spontaneous DVD playback failure.
I've actually got 2 problems, but only the first one is a *big* problem.
The other night, I'd just gotten done watching one of the DVD's for season 2 of 24. I popped in the next one, went to "Play DVD". The screen went blank, and stopped. It read 0/0 tracks, found not data, and just hung there. I could hit Stop and return to the main menu, but hitting Play DVD brought up the same results. Choosing "DVD Track Forward", Backward, menu, etc, would pop up the error about not being able to do that with the disk. Swapping to a DVD that i know works did nothing. Running WinDVD works flawlessly, so it's not the disk or the drive.
Close sage, reopen it, same problem. Reboot twice, same problem.
So I download the newest version of Sage Beta. Overwrite my old files, and suddenly it's working. I complete watching that disk, pop in the next disk, and *bam*. Same problem. Close Sage, reopen it, and it works again. My wife pops in a disk this morning, and it fails yet again.
I've made absoultely no changes, no new software installs/updates in the last week. It has worked fine until now. I need this to start working again.
********PROBLEM 2 (LESSER)*************
Also, I have a problem where if i'm near the end of the movie, and I hit "Track Forward" (the three minute fast forward), and the screen freezes with whatever picture was last there. To clarify, it only happens when there is less than 3 minutes left on the movie, and i track forward. The screen freezes to whatever it was last showing (usually the credits), but it sounds like it went back to the menu. Clicking any button does nothing. Only restarting sage fixes it.
