Does Placeshifter work with 1080i files in V9
If I remember correctly under V7 or earlier Placeshifter didn't work so well, or even at all, for 1080i files even when you are on your own LAN.
Has that changed at all in V9? There is the option of using the full client in many instances but I always found the plugin architecture somewhat confusing for clients as I was never sure when I had to install a plugin on the client as well as the server. When it comes to plugins that pertain to the UI do they always have to be installed on the client even if they are already installed on the server?

Check your router as sage tv is not the problem - I used to think it was too until I bought a great router and before I did I had trouble playing sage tv 1080 files as now my recordings stream fine over my lan with placeshifter.
I don't use sage tv to play blurays or dvds with so if that is what you were referring too I am unsure. By the way I am still using V7 of sage TV |

Pretty much any plugin that you want to work on the client, that is either UI, or UI Mod, needs to be installed on the client.

I don't know how the router would matter as internal LAN traffic shouldn't even hit the router as I have a 24 port switch where I connect all of the devices on my LAN.
