Open Source Status

Hey everyone, been using Sage for over a decade. Just wondering if there is a general community plan for Sage now that open source seems to have happened. Was there a needs/wants list already in place that is getting worked on? Are there media formats not support by Sage 7 that need to be updated? Any plans for GooglePlay/AppStore official apps that are easy to configure/install?

Thanks for info in advance, excited that new life could be breathed into this product. Of course, it's aged flawlessly since the Google purchase which is a great testament to the quality of the product.

There's not an organized group driving the way things are going. There are a smattering of developers working on their own little projects, that all seem to add a little bit to the whole. There is an android client being worked on. There are network encoders for various sources being worked on. But I wouldn't say there's any 'plan'. The thing is, SageTV, as it is right now - works. It does it's thing, and now does it for free, and available to anyone with the inkling to go that way.

My wish list is to only use 1 tuner and keep padding on back to back favorites on the same channel. Also to be able to use only 1 tuner to record for example OTA Channels 2.1 2.2 and 2.3.
