Upgrade Question - having an issue
I'm trying to upgrade a Window's V7 install to v9 and I'm having an issue.
I ran the build script for the Sage.jar file and moved it into my Sage install directory. I also copied over the lucene-core-3.6.0 jar file to the correct directory and uninstalled the lucene version that comes with older versions of Phoenix.. When I launch SageTV I get stuck at the loading screen with the message "Object Database Backup is initializing..." I thought the error might be with my Wiz.bin file so I deleted it but I still can't get past this screen. What am I doing wrong?

I ran into this recently and I had to either delete or rename the lucene-core-3.0.1.jar file in the SageTV\JARs directory.
Although it worked for me I'm not positive if that is your problem but maybe worth a quick test.

That pointed me in the right direction; I don't know why I didn't think about enabling logging before posting
I was testing out v9 in a virtual machine and had SageTV installed on the C drive. However, I had copied over my prod server files, which runs Sage on different drive letter. The different drive letters prevented the update from going smoothly; Sage was looking for my wiz.bin file on a non-existent drive. I just needed to mirror the drive arrangement in the virtual machine and the update went smoothly.
