4K video cards?

This might be a bit of an off-topic post but.. You guys are the only people I know who know anything about video cards

I'm putting together a new system, and am looking for an nvidia based video card capable of driving a 4K monitor at 60Hz in SST (single-stream) mode. I have a 4K monitor that I'm trying to drive, and I *think* it only supports SST. Is there a table somewhere telling what vendors chipsets / cards can drive 4k @60Hz in SST mode?

I'm hoping for something low-power & fanless, but..

Regarding AMD's vid cards, I'd simply check to see that it supports 3840x2160, and verify which port you'll be using to achieve this (Displayport 1.2 for example).

Just out of curiosity, which 60hz SST display are you looking to purchase?

I've actually already got a Philips BDM4065. I'm currently using it in 4K x 60Hz mode via Displayport 1.2 from my corporate Macbook Pro (mid 2014 retina), and it looks great.

But now I'm building a personal machine to replace the one in my profile. I've got a full shopping cart for my build, and am stuck hemming & hawing over what video card to get that can drive this monitor at 4K@60. From my (flawed) understanding, nearly any card with a DP output will do 4K@30Hz. But I want 4K@60Hz. And I'm under the impression that this monitor supports SST (and perhaps only SST), as the EDID information shows a resolution of 3840x2160 @ 59.997Hz:

Based on the nvidia page, I guess I'll get a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 750 ZONE Edition (ZT-70707-20M), as it is the only fanless nvidia that I can find with DP and 4K support..

Don't some of the newest Intel CPUs with Irir Pro integrated GPUs support 3840x2160 @ 60Hz?

So far I only tried Nvidia cards with 4K at 60Hz. I use 780GTX and 960GTX. Both work fine with 4K at 60Hz (in Linux) over displayport and HDMI (with the 960 I even use an HDMI to DVI back to HDMI cable and it still works fine). The 960 can even drive three 4K TVs at 60Hz at the same time.

So far it is working fine. I did not do much benchmarking yet. But it seems to be holding up fine from what I can see. I specifically did not want to go with the Quadro ones as they are much more expensive. I drive the TVs in 3D mode but I can emulate the necessary 3D mode (it is passive and line interlaced). So there is no need for having support for quadbuffer stereo or syncing. Thus I can get by with the GTX960 and save a few hundred dollars, especially since I have two GTX960 in that computer with each of them hooked up to three 4K TVs, so six in total.

Thanks. That's pretty awesome. Two things that are almost impossible to accurately depict in photos are high resolution and panoramas. A high-res panorama will never produce a "best shot" ...
