Serial to Bluetooth adapter

Have any of you guys ever used one of those serial to Bluetooth adapters like this one to connect to the console of network gear, or SAN controllers, etc.? Do they work well? Seems like it might be a handy way to keep from being tied to the back of equipment in the cold and loud datacenter.
