Using SageTV with Slingbox

I finally bought a Slingbox today and I have hooked up a Sage HD-200 to it. But I can't figure out how to tell the Slingbox that it should be using SageTV remote codes rather than STB codes.

Has anyone figured out if you can do this or if you can learn the remote codes from a Sage remote to use on a Slingbox?

I have a Sling device connected to an HD-100. I don't recall the steps involved (probably because it was painless), but I learned and use the codes from the Sage remote. Check the documentation for controlling generic STBs ...

I was able to get a .bin file that gives Sage remote control functionality. That is available here: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...48&postcount=5

It is a little tricky figuring out how to use this. Here are some instructions that help http://placeshiftingenthusiasts.com/...x-500-and-350/

The problem is that the remote control shown is missing a lot of keys that I find very useful, namely Home/Menu, SkipFwd, SkpFwdX2, SkipBk, SkipBkX2. The delay makes skipping less useful but I would still like to have it working. At least the power button works to power it on.

Ideally the .bin file that defines the Sage remote would be edited but that is a bit tricky. There is more info here: http://slingbox.wikia.com/wiki/How_t...remote_upgrade

Interestingly the bin file that you use is tiny - I think it is less than 100 bytes.

So to solve this I use a combination of the Sage remote in the Slingplayer UI and the remote control in the Sage Web UI and/or TiSageTV on my iPad and iPhone.

If anyone has a better remote control file let me know. If I can figure this out I might give it a try, assuming that you can read the codes correctly with a USB-UIRT.
